Statement of intent:

My love for the outdoors and my desire to protect it started with outdoor recreation. I have been fortunate enough to experience the beauty of the natural world, and I believe that everyone should have the opportunity to explore these amazing places. Outdoor recreation can be a transformative experience, therefore my intention with product design is to create gear which helps more people access the natural world, in order to grow a deeper appreciation for it; while doing it in a responsible way. Creating any product undoubtedly has many environmental impacts, that is just a fact, therefore minimizing these impacts is a key tenet of my design philosophy. I hope that through growing a deep appreciation for the natural world, we can change behaviors to influence systemic change; for me, this started with outdoor recreation.
